Lion Network Growth for LinkedIn provides profile suggestions and lets users record invitations they mark sent. Suggestions do not guarantee that a person welcomes or will accept an invitation. Invitation history and daily progress stay on the user's device and are not sent to Lion Network. The extension does not collect LinkedIn login details, messages, or profile-page content. It does not inspect or modify profile pages, scrape websites, send invitations or messages, detect outcomes, or act on a user's behalf.
The extension receives profile names and profile URLs from the Lion Network service so it can display a suggestion and open the selected profile. When a user selects “Mark sent,” that profile URL is stored locally using Chrome extension storage. The extension also stores locally, on the user's device, the time each profile was opened (used only to enforce a short wait before “Mark sent” can be selected) and a daily tally of how many invitations were marked sent (up to five per day), together with the current date so the tally resets at local midnight. This information stays on the device and is not uploaded to the service.
The suggestion service reads a curated, read-only receiver pool. A profile is eligible for the pool only when it is an available receiver with a valid session and verified account state, is not sold, has a display name and safe public username, and remains below its configured connection target. The service returns only the display name and derived public LinkedIn profile URL. Credentials, cookies, messages, invitation outcomes, and other account fields are not exposed to the extension.
The suggestion service is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS Lambda). Opening a profile sends a normal navigation request to LinkedIn, whose privacy practices apply to that visit.
The extension makes an HTTPS GET request to its fixed service endpoint to retrieve profile suggestions. The service application performs no writes and does not receive local progress, browsing history, profile-page contents, authentication credentials, or messages. Its application error logger records only a stable event name, request ID, error name, and error code. AWS infrastructure may process routine request metadata such as IP address, request time, and user agent according to the deployed AWS logging and retention configuration.
Information is used only to provide profile suggestions, open a profile selected by the user, prevent profiles marked sent or previously reviewed from being shown again, enforce a short wait before “Mark sent” can be selected, enforce and show a daily limit of five invitations marked sent per day, secure the service, and diagnose operational errors.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use extension data for advertising, credit decisions, or unrelated profiling. Routine technical request information may be processed by infrastructure providers only as needed to host and secure the service or as required by law.
Profile URLs marked sent or previously reviewed remain in Chrome's local extension storage until the user clears the extension's data or uninstalls it. The profile-open timestamps are temporary: a profile's timestamp is removed once that profile is marked sent, and timestamps for already-handled profiles are cleaned up. The daily progress tally is not accumulated indefinitely — it is replaced when the date changes at local midnight (the count resets while handled history is preserved). Service infrastructure logs, if generated, are retained only for reasonable security and operational needs according to the hosting provider's configuration.
Our use of user data adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Service communication uses HTTPS. All executable extension code is included in the installed package; the service returns data, not executable code.
Users may stop using the extension at any time. Clearing extension storage or uninstalling the extension deletes its locally stored information.
Lion Network Growth for LinkedIn is not directed to children under 13.
